Um not to sure what to say about this one. i started sketching it, drawing the arms in different positions over the one body in order to pick a pose i liked, but in the end i liked them all so she ended up with heaps of arms.
One of the best things about this image, besides the wonderful smokey colours, is the way the viewer must stare for a moment and try to figure out which arms are coming from where. Because it's anatomically unrealistic, it creates a feeling of wrongness, and the viewer needs to stop and make sense of it, which is a powerful thing for an image to have. I love all the poses too, I think it's great you kept them all . I appreciate that the style of this image is very soft, but I personally would have preferred it if at least the eyes of the figure were sharper and more striking, and maybe some of the other details such as the hat ornaments were in tighter focus. Your lighting is wonderful, especially across the arms/hands - very beautiful. I cannot help but wonder if the tree in the background, perhaps, deserved just a little more of your talent with shading...just a tad, so it had more depth? Just to finish off, I love that bottom hand, it's my favourite part of the whole image - the lighting and pose of it are great.
