I was aiming for it to look as though she was shedding something similar to old snake skin, so hopefully it does. Comments  Woah..that is brilliant
 awesom coloration and composition, wonderful details, and i LOVE the shading! Great render of a good concept! Her makeup might be clashing a bit with the idea of being newly born, but otherwise a damn good job
 Thanks for he comment. Your absolutely right about the make up. Originally i intended her with no makeup, but i was trying to bring out out the colour of her eyes so she ended up with some.

Critiques
The idea that she was shedding her old "snake skin" is quite original!
I'm not sure how shedded snake skin looks like but with your description I believe that she's really doing this.^^
Otherwise I thought it might be a cloak made out of silk.
Anyway I think you did perfect on the face symmetry but the hair could get some more light and shadow shades.
Also I miss some details in the dress. Right now the dress is fine with the design but it still looks a bit "hard". As if it wouldn't be tissue. Maybe you could add there some kind of texture.
